Ideation began with drawings and transitioned gradually into digital design, and eventually into vectorwork-styled design.

It was important to us to highlight the connection that HFS creates between Greece and NYC through their work with cinema. So we pulled from notable cliches and tropes of Athens and NYC and imbued them with a dose of humor throughout the design.

The final product was entirely digital, completed in Figma for the most part and designed to be readily printed, adjusted to website needs and edited to accommodate for branding components where needed

And a little extra joy

One thing I wanted to add for an extra does of joy and humor, and that felt appropriate since we were playing on tropes common in NYC and Athens, was a pidgeon.

Thus, Pidge was born, and eventually also animated. He is our mascot now, who lives between NYC and Athens.
